Privacy policy

Last updated: September 2026

D.O Naija Exchange (“we”, “us”) is not yet a live money transfer or bill payment service. This policy explains what we collect through this waitlist page, and how it’s used, while we build the product.

What we collect

  • The email address you give us when you join the waitlist.
  • The country you’d send from and the country you’d send to.
  • Anything you choose to tell us about what you’d use the service for.
  • A hashed version of your IP address and your browser’s user agent string, used to protect the form against spam and abuse. We never store your raw IP address.

How we use it

We use your email to let you know when we launch, to update you on our progress, and occasionally to ask what you’d find useful as we build. We use the country fields to understand demand and to prioritize which corridors we launch first. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Where it’s stored

Waitlist submissions are stored in a database we control. We also use Formspree, a third-party form notification service, to email our team when someone joins the waitlist — the same information you submit (email, send/receive country, and what you’d use it for) is relayed to Formspree for this purpose. Access is limited to the small team building D.O Naija Exchange. See Formspree’s privacy policy for how they handle data on their end.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time by contacting us at info@donaijacargo.com.

Changes

As we move from building to launching, our data practices will evolve and this policy will be updated to reflect that — including once we begin operating as a licensed money transfer or bill payment provider.

This page is not an offer of financial services. D.O Naija Exchange is not currently licensed to provide money transfer or bill payment services.
